If a monitor is not within the range of a gateway it will continue to store values until it runs out of storage space. the MAD Monitor v4.3 can store approximately 94,000 cycle times before it will need to cycle off the oldest cycle time record as new cycle times are recorded.

If this is happening regularly a MAD Repeater should be added between this MAD Monitor location and the MAD Gateway servicing it or a cellular monitor should be considered.
